We saw a coffee table in a magazine that looked really nice, but also didn't look like it would last. I thought that I could replicate it out of walnut and think it turned out really well. I used a mitered edge to get the waterfall effect, and used dowels to join the peices together. It turned out so well, my sister-in-law asked for one for a Christmas present!
